THE PINHOLE CAMERA

When my tutor first told me that I would be making a camera out of any empty tin of chocolates I wouldn’t have it, for real, I was like no way, u can sell it all year but I’m not buying it.

Then when it came time to make my camera I was late to class, and missed some of the explanation, so I was even less convince about this whole camera thing.
But then I listened to what Tim had to say and then decided that I was going to get on with making the camera, forgetting that I’d left my tin at home. Grief!!!!
So I was told to go down stairs into the café and get a cup so I could use that instead.
Me being me, I decided that while I was there I’d have a hot chocolate as well, then 20 minutes later, I went back to class and started making my camera.

I had to paint the inside of the cup with black paint, and seal of any holes in the lid with sum “GAFFA” tape so that no light could get in.
Then I made a the pinhole on the front of my cup and put the weird shinny silver paper over the first pinhole and then made another through the silver paper.
After that I made a flap so I could cover the pinhole. My makeshift cup slash camera was finished.
So I went into the red room to put in this special paper, that I’ve forgot the name of, so I could take the picture.
At this point I was no more convinced about the whole thing than I was when I was first told about the idea.

But like a fool, I still went outside to try and take my picture.
Two failed attempts and 40 minutes later I was not impressed, I thought to myself what kind off ---- is this, but then Tim told me there was a spare tin on the table, and that I should use it instead.
So I did, I went out side and put my tin on the bench next to me and waited there for 15 minutes and then took my tin back in side.
Then I went into the dark room to develop a picture for the third time and to my absolute disbelief it actually worked!!
I must admit I was kind off happy with myself, like, it actually worked, and it was a good picture as well so its all bless.
Then I managed to capture another one, this time of the atrium.
The atrium picture came out pretty clear as well so I was happy with that one too.
